CASHEL UNIT
Our unit has been serving the people of Cashel and surrounding areas since 1992.
Our unit currently has 25 members offering their time on a voluntary basis covering all duties that are required by them. Auxillary members offer support to the unit when needed and are an important part of anu unit.
We currently own 2 ambulances oneof which is a 4x4 Ambulance and our recent Import from the UK. The ambulances are a major part of our services in the community providing first aid and care. fpr a full list of duties check out the Duties page
We hold our weekly meeting in Cashel every Tuesday night.
Cadet classes from 7-8 and Senior classes from 8-10.
We cover all areas of training from:
- Basic First Aid
- First responder course
- AED Operator courses
- NCO training
- Make Up courses
- Instructor level training
- Ambulance Equipment
- Manual handling training
- Home Nursing
All members are trained to high standards and are friendly and totally commited to the organisation. For a sample of the types of training provided click on the Training link. 
Officer in Charge is Lt. Pat Maher who was also one of the founding members of the Cashel Unit.
